  • Nickel is mainly refined in Norway, Finland, France, and Japan

  • 1.4 million tons of nickel is produced in the world

  • There are many different ways to mine nickel: it all depends on what kind of nickel ore it is

  • There are sometimes other metals in the nickel ore and it has to be extracted
